About Bright Basketry
A small set of free planners for the season of giving.
What it is
Bright Basketry helps with the practical side of giving presents: deciding what you can spend and on whom (the gift budget planner), telling people what you would like (the wishlist maker), finding a starting point when you are stuck (the gift ideas list) and keeping track of it all (the printable gift tracker).
How it works
Everything runs in your browser. Your budget, wishlist draft and tracker are kept in your browser's local storage on your device and nowhere else, and a shared wishlist travels only inside its link. Once a page has loaded it keeps working without a connection. There are no accounts and no cookies.
What it is not
It is not a shop. The gift ideas were written for this site and name no brands or retailers, and there are no adverts or affiliate links: nobody pays to appear here. The budget planner adds up the numbers you give it; it is not financial advice, and only you know what you can comfortably spend.
Two recommendations
Each page's footer links to two free services we think are useful when shopping online, CleanTempMail and WebTraceCheck, and the home page explains why. They are separate sites with their own privacy policies.
